Abuse-deterrent opioids would reduce overdose toll

People are dying every day. A report earlier this year published by the Trust for America’s Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation indicated drug overdose deaths now surpass the number of fatalities from car accidents in Pennsylvania. And, our state scored low (4 out of 10) on key indicators for preventing those deaths. We must do something — and do it now.
