Editorial: Shared database will curb overdoses

The Trust for America's Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation looked state by state at all injury-related deaths, from car accidents to drownings and fires. The study found Pennsylvania in the middle, 23, for such deaths overall, but at No. 9 for drug overdose deaths. Meanwhile, the study also ranked Pennsylvania as among the seven states scoring low on prevention.
