No flu shot? What's your excuse? Americans avoiding the vaccine

Fewer than half of Americans – 45 percent – received a vaccine last flu season, up from 41 percent in the 2011-2012 season, according to an analysis released this week by the Trust for America’s Health, a disease prevention nonprofit based in Washington, D.C. The analysis was based on data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
