Richard Hamburg has been promoted to deputy director at Trust for America's Health, a nonprofit disease prevention advocacy group, where he will oversee public policy initiatives, advocacy campaigns and internal operations. Hamburg was director of government relations. He also has worked at the group's New York City affiliate as director of government affairs. He previously was national director of government relations at the American Heart Association.

Courtney Pastorfield has been hired at Trust for America's Health as a public health policy associate. Pastorfield previously worked for the Special Olympics' Healthy Athletes initiative and for the Senate Health, Education Labor and Pensions Subcommittee on Children and Families.
