The South needs a makeover.

We're not talking cosmetics. The real problem is our health, and more specifically our rates of obesity and related illnesses.

Mississippi again ranked first in the country among the states in the percentage of the population that is overweight.

Tennessee ranked fourth in the study released by Trust for America's Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Arkansas was 10th.
