Wisconsin obesity rates: 26 percent of adults, 28 percent of children

Twenty-six percent of Wisconsin adults are obese. That’s about the same as last year, according to a new study by the Trust for America’s Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

Meanwhile, the nation keeps getting fatter. Adult obesity rates went up in 23 states last year, and did not go down anywhere.

Wisconsin’s new ranking is right in the middle – 25th among the 50 states.
