The United States of Obesity? Change starts with you

In fact, according to the fifth annual "F as in Fat: How Obesity Policies are Failing in America 2008" report released recently by the Trust for America's Health
and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, there are plenty of reasons for you, and your kids, to get off the couch.
Consider this — in 1991, no state had an obesity rate above 20 percent.
Today more than 20 percent of adults are obese in every single state — except Colorado.
Here in New Hampshire, for the third year in a row the adult obesity rate has increased.
Now at 23.6 percent in this state and 23.7 percent in Maine, that certainly puts the neighboring states in plenty of company nationwide.
