Kansas well-prepared for public health crisis

Five years after the Sept. 11 attacks, Kansas is one of the best-prepared states in the country should a public health disaster strike. It ranks just behind Oklahoma, according to the Trust for America’s Health, a public health policy group. Missouri and 11 other states are not far behind.
