Editorial: Obesity rate in Kansas is unacceptable

According to a study sponsored by the Trust for America’s Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (the State of Obesity report), Kansas is the seventh most obese state in the U.S. The adult obesity rate has risen from 31.3 percent in 2014 to 34.2 percent in 2015, making Kansas one of only two states to see a statistically significant increase last year.
