Arkansas ranked last in preparedness for disease outbreak

Arkansas is the least prepared state for an infectious disease outbreak, according to a report released Thursday on protecting Americans from infectious diseases.
The Trust for America's Health and The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation released a 112 page report Thursday morning titled, “Outbreaks: Protecting Americans from Infectious Diseases,” assessing readiness for infectious threats.
