Delaware health: Senator wants calories counted

Delaware has the 17th-highest rate of adult obesity in the nation at 27.3 percent and the 16th-highest number of overweight youths ages 10 to 17, at 33.2 percent, according to a report issued last year by health advocacy organizations Trust for America's Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The rate of obese adults in Delaware increased for three straight years, the study found.
