Nebraska's adult obesity rate rises for third straight year

Nebraska's adult obesity rate has risen for the third straight year - and Iowa's rate is up, too. A new national report s ays that 26.5 percent of adult Nebraskans are obese. In Iowa, 26.3 percent of adult are obese, according to the annual report released today by the nonprofit group Trust for America's Health. More than 25 percent of adults are obese in 28 states . That's an increase from 19 states last year. More than 20 percent of adults are obese in every state except Colorado.
