Nonprofit group: Georgia is ready for a public health emergency

In a report released Tuesday by Trust for America's Health, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit, Georgia scored a 9 out of 10 —one of 21 states to score a 9 or better. "For us, this year's release is a dramatic step forward," said Stuart Brown, director of the state's Division of Public Health, said Tuesday afternoon. "We're really excited."
