Virginia Among Best-Prepared States for Health Emergencies

Virginia has received a perfect score on a report ranking how well states have prepared for public health emergencies. Virginia was among just seven states that performed adequately in each of the 10 categories measured in the report released Tuesday by the Trust for America's Health, a research group. The other states that received a 10 out of 10 ranking are Illinois, Kentucky, Nebraska, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Tennessee.
