Fight obesity epidemic

America needs to start walking its talk on obesity and health. Americans keep talking about the importance of losing weight and getting active -- and we just keep getting fatter. Two-thirds of Americans are either overweight or clinically obese, according to a recent report from the Trust for America's Health. Obesity rates in Kansas are also climbing. More than 23 percent of adult Kansans said they don't get any physical activity; the national average is 22 percent. At a time when America's health care system faces soaring costs, we can't afford to ignore this health crisis.
